I have some questions about the pool, can it be ran on Windows, what kind of Internet will I need. I don't remember what you call it, but my Ip is not static. Will that work? And what kind of server will I need, I was thinking of running it on an old desktop. Idk if it has SSE4 + AVX2 support, is that need it? I will have to look to see what cpu it has. Which would be best ssd or hdd. and is it really a big deal? Can I use qbundle as the pools wallet? where do you get domains for really cheap?

I get my domain from: https://freenom.com you can register a domain for free for a year at a time, and then at the end of the year just renew it for free. Just remember to renew 14 days before it expires, or you my lose it or have to pay big $$ to get it back. You can get .ml, .tk, .ga, cf, .gq for free. But I have to pay for BurstCoin.ml, because it's a quality domain. But most are free.

One big thing you may worry about is DDoS attacks, that's a serious problem! I have DDoS protection at the datacenter and use Cloudflare on top of that. Cloudflare is free for one site. https://www.cloudflare.com/

That is called dynamic IP, when a IP is non-static. You can use something called DDNS ( Dynamic DNS ), you run something in the background to ping your DDNS provider. That will update them with your IP changes. When I first started my pool like 3 years ago, I was using DDNS. My IP would change every two weeks or so, some times I would have miners that would lose connection for a few hours when my IP changed. I would highly recommend taking that money you saved from your domain, and get a static IP. But if you go down the route of DDNS I like: https://freedns.afraid.org/ ( I did not like No IP: https://www.noip.com/ )
As for your internet will probably want 50/20 Mbps for starting off.

And for your server you will need SSE4 + AVX2 support, pool will not run with out it. For starting out 4 core would work really good with 16 GB RAM. I think you want to go with a SSD, a 128 will work. You may also want a good battery backup. As for the OS I have always used Linux, Ubuntu Server. I think it may run on windows. And the Burstcoin core wallet: https://github.com/PoC-Consortium/burstcoin
MySQL DB SSD vs HDD: https://dba.stackexchange.com/questions ... -databases And https://www.percona.com/blog/2016/09/09 ... -use-ssds/

Did I forget anything?
